THE OLYMPIC GAMES IS A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL EVENT FEATURING SUMMER AND WINTER SPORTS, IN WHICH THOUSANDS OF ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF COMPETITIONS.

The colors of the five Olympic rings are blue, yellow, black, green, and red. They traditionally represent the five areas who are participating with the Olympic games. The five areas are North and South America (considered as one area), Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Every flag of a participating country has one of the colors of the rings.

The Olympic symbol are five interlaced rings of equal dimensions in one or in five different colors, which are, from left to right, blue, yellow, black, green and red. The Olympic symbol expresses the activity of the Olympic movement and represents the union of the five the meeting of athletes in the Olympic Games.

The olympic flag was raised in  the Olympic Games in Antwerp 1920 for the first time.

Evaluation:
Children looked on the internet for the flag of the Olympic and logos and read about them. They chose what to put in their presentation, they made a presentation and saw it in class. Pupils learned many things about the Olympics and will continue with other presentations.
